Spices and spirits have been distilled in Åhus for over 100 years, and for a long time all Swedish aquavit was made here.

Now we make Åhus Akvavit, a spirit that interprets the 100-year-old traditions that have developed since the distillery was built in 1906.

We use traditional aquavit botanicals from our local plant world – caraway and fennel – but have also given the drink a modern touch with rosemary, lemon and bitter orange.

The aquavit spices bring out the flavours and pair perfectly with classic Christmas food, such as pickled herring and cured salmon.
