Black Velvet is a smooth blended whisky with notes of brown sugar and vanilla, along with an appealingly rich aroma of butterscotch and fruit. This is a mellow whisky that is neither complex nor smoky, appreciated for its “what you see is what you get” attitude.

As the name suggests, and as Master Distiller Jack Napier once proclaimed, Black Velvet has a remarkably smooth taste. Not particularly complex or smoky, but rather simple and easy-going: the feeling of things going “smooth”.

Serve at room temperature as an after-dinner drink, or use as a cocktail ingredient.
