Ripresa means “to rise again” – and that is exactly what this wine has done. Winemaker Danilo Gizzos has rediscovered this fantastic vineyard, nestled in the nature reserve of Abruzzo at an altitude of 400 meters. Thanks to its unique location and climate, it has been possible to create a wine that captures the natural freshness of the Adriatic Sea.

Now that the vineyard has been rediscovered, a parcel from an older vintage has been found and is being launched exclusively in Sweden!

Ripresa Annata Historica, 2012, is a wine with a deep ruby-red colour and an inviting herbal aroma. The palate is full-bodied and delicious, with notes of ripe cherries. Perfect served at 16°C with pork or lamb, as well as flavourful vegetarian dishes.
