Boulard Calvados XO belongs to the very highest classification of calvados. Like all calvados from Boulard, it is an entirely natural product made from 100 percent apples from Normandy. A full 18 kilo apples go into a single bottle, and up to around 100 different apple varieties may be used. The ideal blend is 40% bitter, 40% sweet and 20% tart apples.

Calvados Boulard is double-distilled over an open flame in copper “pot stills”, a highly artisanal and relatively slow method.
