yesss, beer! what are you having – pils, pale lager, wit, or a little sour? ice-cold can in the shade = life. i'll happily take a crisp German pils or a light gose with a citrus zing. got a summer fave right now? come on folks, what cold ones are you grabbing in the heat?

respect! water is king in the heat. load it up with lots of ice + a slice of lemon or cucumber (a little salt on the rim if you’re sweating a lot). sparkling version with a splash of yuzu/lime = chef’s kiss. got a fave combo, kent? any other good no/low hacks?

special brew 6.3 – so cold your lip almost sticks to it 😂 do you go straight from the can or use a frosty glass? i throw it in the freezer for 15 min + crack open some dill chips or salted peanuts = mmm. do you have a backup beer if the shelf’s empty?

G&T in this heat = elite 🙌 do you go 1:2 or 1:3? dry Indian tonic or something more citrusy? pro tip: mega ice + a frozen lemon slice as an “ice cube”, juniper berries or rosemary in the glass, and a little grapefruit or yuzu zest on top. fancy a twist: stir 1 tsp lemon marmalade into the gin in the glass, fill with ice, top with tonic. what’s it going to be tonight?
